Hello, I am Danielle Hobson and my first journey with tutoring started at the prestigious Central State University where, during both my junior and senior years, I assisted underclassmen who may have struggled in various English courses. This is where it all started!
After gaining this experience -following graduation- and while being a classroom ELA teacher, I furthered my skills with a well known private tutorial program in which the CEO and I tutored ACT test prep and contracted with various programs in the Columbus area. Some with which you may be familiar are Upward Bound, Young Scholars, and other youth programs at The Ohio State University Campus.
Because this is my true passion, I later became a Coordinator for a local NCLB program in which I supervised a group of tutors and staff who supplemented educational services for K12 students. I will be honest though, I did go on hiatus for some years but now I'm back! I am now a mother of college bound children, so what better way to prepare them than with my skills and experiences?! And why not utilize these skills to help other college bound students reach their full potential and essentially get accepted to their college/university of choice?
In my spare time, I love having "family time", traveling, dancing, and attending special events.
As a former anxiety ridden test taker, I truly understand and recognize the challenges students face while taking these exams. With these skills and relatability, rest assured that I will help boost confidence and improve scores with guaranteed and proven results!
